Food is an important part of what we do at The Rec. When you come to a gig , we want you to enjoy not only an evening of live music & comedy but also the best burgers in town .

All our burgers made from scratch using top quality chuck steak mince and our chicken burger and dippers are made from 100% breast meat, marinated in buttermilk and hand crumbed. We follow the philosophy that if we wouldn't serve it to our family then we wouldn't serve it to you.

Bangkok Bad-Boy Veggie Burger (V)

Chickpea, red-pepper and sweetcorn based patty. Gently seasoned & spiced. Served with burger sauce, baby gem, tomato, red onion & gherkin in a lightly toasted brioche bun. 

MOVING MOUNTAINS Plant Based Burger (VG)

This succulent plant based burger will satisfy those meaty cravings and fool even the most committed carnivores. Pure plant powered deliciousness.

Halloumi Stack (V)

Aubergine, courgette & peppers layered between slices of griddled halloumi. Served in a lightly toasted brioche bun.

Chicken Lick'in

Buttermilk breaded breast fillet, burger sauce, smoked bacon, mature cheddar, finished off with baby gem, tomato, red onion & gherkin in a lightly toasted brioche bun.

Glorious Ribs

Succulent fall off the bone, half-rack pork ribs. Spiced with our chef's secret Cajun inspired rub and smothered in his homemade BBQ sauce and a red cabbage slaw.

Classic Hot Dog

Just like at an American ball game, a classic hot dog served in a brioche bun topped with American mustard, ketchup and a sprinkling of crispy fried onions.

Chilli Dog

Just like the classic but this time topped with the chef's homemade chilli and melted mature cheddar.

Messy Porker

A mound of luxurious pulled pork smothered in BBQ sauce, sandwiched in a lightly toasted brioche bun. Served with homemade slaw with a morning - Things are gonna to get messy!

Frank's Hot Sauce Wings

Deep fried chicken wings smothered in Frank's Hot Sauce served with a cooling blue cheese dip. 

If spicy is your thing request the ghost chilli sauce topping.

BBQ Chicken Wings

Flour-coated deep fried chicken wings dressed in a delicious BBQ sauce.

Crispy Calamari
