The Rec Rooms are available for public or private hire. Whether you’re looking to stage a performance, organise a conference or host a party, we have everything you need to make the occasion perfect. Please contact us with your requirements and we will be happy to help.  Prices for hire of The Rec Rooms start from £500.

There are four distinct spaces within ‘The Rec’ complex that offer complete flexibility for every type of event. You can hire just one space, a combination or the whole building making us one of the most unique and adaptable private hire spaces in the south east.

We have an in-house kitchen meaning that alongside the room hire we can provide freshly made food options, ranging from our normal menu items, to buffets or a completely bespoke menu.

Depending on your requirements we can host anything from 6-500 people and our sales team can work with you to create your perfect event.

To secure your booking we ask for a 10% non-refundable deposit upon booking.

As our venue offers so many possibilities it is very difficult to give a cut and dry price. However this does mean that we are able to offer a lot more flexibility than other venues to build up and strip out costs depending on your requirements. It is also worth bearing in mind that our pricing is seasonal i.e. it will be more expensive to hire The Rec Rooms on a Saturday night than a Tuesday night.

Bespoke food and drinks packages are available on request and our Head Chef & sales team will work with you to provide the perfect package tailored to your requirements. If you wish to provide your own food and drink corkage will apply.

The quotation you receive will be inclusive of staffing costs, including a doorman (when necessary). The cost of our sound technicians is in addition and will range from £10-25ph depending on the complexity of your requirements. If you wish to use our PA system with your own sound technician this will only be with the express permission of our sound team and you will be fully liable for any damage to our equipment.
